Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:

Most business people are motivated only by the desire for more money.

V1. Money indeed is an important factor that motivates people to do business. Money can provide many benefits-more opportunities, higher status in society, and the ability to travel and enjoy better food, housing, health care, and entertainment. Several studies indicate that wealthier people live longer. In short, money fulfills highly desirable wants. Once beyond a certain threshold, money has little or no effect on happiness. Many wealthy people have experienced this and are not any more happy than middle-class people. In fact, some wealthy people are downright unhappy.

V2. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, people are also motivated by many other factors like love, esteem, and self-actualization other than material payback.

2.1 The need to be respected and to have self-esteem drives business people to do charity.

2.2 The need to realize one’s full potential leads business people to continue trying.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:

Students who can keep their own rooms organized are more likely to succeed.

  Agree:

V1. Keeping room in order reflects students’ custom and attitudes towards details, which is often the key of success.

V2. Keeping room organized can actual help students perform better in study and work. Improve study efficiency: for one thing, keeping their rooms organized can guarantee a pleasant environment, which makes people feel happy. For another, keeping all things in order, students will save plenty of time spent in finding things to do other meaningful things.

V3. Admittedly, to be successful requires more than a good habit. However, being organized and systematic in personal life means responsibility of individual, and this is the first step to any undertakings.
