The Olympic emblem(奥运会徽) for the 2008 Olympic Games was shown to the public in Beijing, August 3, 2003.The emblem, named “Chinese Beijing”, was designed as a Chinese seal with the words “Beijing 2008”written below. The Chinese word “Jing” meaning Beijing appears on the seal. It looks like a lively dancer, opening his arms to the world. The seal is red, an important colour for the Chinese people, and red also represents good luck.
I think“Dancing Beijing”will attract more and more people from the world to Beijing and Beijing will open its arms to people from all over the world in 2008.
