Next, we went to see the elephants. They were big and had long trunks. I was amazed when I saw an elephant using its trunk to pick up a big piece of fruit.
We also saw beautiful birds with colorful feathers. They were singing and flying around. I learned that some of them can even talk!
At noon, we had lunch at the zoo restaurant. I had a yummy hamburger and a cold drink. It was very tasty.
In the afternoon, we went to the aquarium. I saw many fish and sea animals. My favorite was the big turtle. It swam so slowly and looked very peaceful.
We ended our day with a visit to the gift shop. I bought a small toy monkey as a souvenir.
I had a great time at the zoo. I learned a lot about animals and had fun with my family. I hope to go on more trips like this!
